“Look at this male; this is the future of the alpaca”
                                                                                                                       -- Dr. Julio Sumar --

Marlon Brando's Burattino, a medium brown Huacaya, started showing in 2008 earning a "Blue Ribbon" in a large class (14) on his very first outing. From there this handsome young man entered the ring in another level 4 show, the CABA Classic. The acclaimed international Judge, Dr. Julio Sumar awarded Marlon Brando's Burattino a First place and Reserve Color Championship.
With Burattino as Reserve Color Champion, Dr. Sumar stated,
“Look at this male; this is the future of the alpaca”.

Investigating Burattino's ancestry enables one to see why Dr. Sumar could make this statement with such certainty. His sire, The Godfathers Accoyo Marlon Brando is a multi award winner, proven to pass his impeccable genetics on to his cria. These traits include the unique Accoyo density and coverage along with fineness (under 18 microns), great crimp consistent frame and confirmation. Burattino's dam, Good Fortune Farms' CAA Suzanna is a beautiful lady and 1/2 Accoyo passed down from NWA, LTD Accoyo Luxor. Suzanna is a big, strong, conformationally correct female with dense, crimpy fleece. She is out of a dark fawn female, and with her dark eyes and pigmented eyelids is expected to throw color when bred to a colored male.
A full Accoyo, Luxor is a large boned alpaca with very dense crimpy fiber and well known for adding incredible density to the cria he sires. His largest sheared fleece weight was 14.0 pounds. More than one shearer has commented on how dense his offspring are as compared to the average alpaca they shear.

All of this makes Burattino 3/4 Accoyo and having acquired genetics from the best of best, Burattino brings all the desirable characteristics such as fineness, density, crimp, coverage, conformation and yes, a beautiful trusting disposition to the breeding "table".

If you are serious about improving your herds genetics, we encourage you to get your name on the list for our special introductory breeding rates*.
